The Athos
Peninsula, or Mount Athos (in Greek Agion Oros), is
a theocratic state dedicated to the Virgin Mary and
the preservation of Orthodoxy. The cruise around Mount
Athos is a wonderful combination of knowledge and pleasure.
Our luxury coaches will drive you to Panagia Bay, where
the cruise along the coasts of the peninsula begins.
During the guided cruise you will enjoy both the unique
undeveloped landscape and magnificent architeture of
the monasteries. Before we return to the hotels by bus,
free time for lunch (not incl.) and a swim at Ouranoupolis.
Thessaloniki
- City tour
Thessaloniki,
capital of nothern Greece, possesses a unique blend
of ancient and modern culture that shaped its 2300 years
of dramatic history. The guided tour focuses on the
past and the present, including: stop for photos at
the White Tower, the archeological or byzantine museum
(entrance fees not incl.), short stop to enjoy panoramic
view at the upper walls of the old city, St. Dimitrios
church and crypt, guided drive past all monuments of
the city. Free time in the city before we start the
tour.

Meteora
- Full day Tour
Early
in the morning, we head for the mysterious "stone
forest of Christ", Meteora, stopping for coffee
in the morning, and for lunch (not incl.) after visiting
the Rock Monasteries. The rocks of Meteora both small
and large merge to form an unearthly sight and are considered
to be a geological miracle. Both monks built the first
monasteries, more than 900 years ago, on the picks of
these rocks. Today, six monasteries survive and will
vist two of these before heading back.
Toroneos
- Lazy Day Cruise
A lazy
day cruise between the peninsulas of Kassandra and Sithonia.
Sailing the crystal-clear waters of the Toroneos Bay,
you may enjoy full-bar facilities on board (not incl.).
Disembarkation at the port of Marmaras, a tourist resort
in Sithonia. After a pause at a splendid beach, a good
meal will be served on board (included). Return to Kassandra,
with the opportunity available for an afternoon dive,
thus closing an unforgettable day.
Petralona
- Moudania
A fascinating
visit to the cave of Petralona, with its interesting
stalactite and stalagmite formations, and a collection
of early tools, belonging to Archaic man. The cave acquired
international renown in 1960, when the 600000 year old
skull of a 25-year old woman was discovered. This half
day trip includes a visit to the town of Nea Moudania.
